Description
Man Pointing is Giacometti's most famous work, and the most expensive sculpture ever sold at auction. The work was made in one night for an exhibition in New York, and was painted by hand by Giacometti. It is remarkable for it's size, at a towering 5 feet and 8 inches. The version in the Tate isn't the one that sold for 126 million, but it is still one of their most interesting works.
