A sculpture of a figure, this work is elongated to the point of being essentially a straight line with a head, adding to the impression of height. This is typical of Giacometti's sculptural style, but it's simplicity only makes it more striking. Though it may seem small over an image, it is actually 5 and a half feet tall.
