Title

Two Figures

Subject

Two Figures

Description

A painting, "Two Figures" depicts a figure standing with arms outstretched, and a second, seemingly smaller figure, so vague that it's unclear what it's doing. It's often thought to be a sketch for Giacometti's most famous sculpture, Pointing Man, but Giacometti said he was merely preoccupied with the subject of "the encounter of figures outdoors in a landscape".
